While they are both in the C series, they are two of the most popular blenders from Vitamix and choosing between the two can be tricky.
The 6300 is a very similar blender to the 5200 but it has a few very obvious differences. The first is that it has 3 pre-programed settings and it also has a pulse feature for crushing harder foods and ice. It also has a 64 ounce pitcher and costs about $650
Vitamix 5200 vs. 7500
Although the 5200 is a one of the all time favorites for many Vitamix fans, it was produced about 6 years ago and needed a serious upgrade. Vitamix went in and improved the 5200 and came out with the 7500. It is a more compact size than the 5200 and it is much quieter when running. There was a small increase in motor power too, although only .2 of a horsepower, which adds 10% to the overall power of the blender. The cost of the 7500 is also significantly higher starting at 550 dollars.
The Vitamix s30 is one of their newest blenders and it is the most compact of the lot, and it is a great addition for people who have small kitchens or who travel with their blenders frequently. The pitcher is 40 ounces and also comes with a 20 ounce pitcher/travel cup. It is a great blender if you are only making smoothies for yourself, and not a huge group of people. It has removable blades and a powerful motor that will crush ice and other hard food with no problems what so ever.
